A video (rather than live, as far as I can tell) account of Schiller's historical thriller about the contest for power between Elizabeth I and Mary, Queen of Scots (SPOILER ALERT: Elizabeth wins). Fully staged in a Brooklyn apartment (not mine — unless they snuck in when I wasn't looking).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Straight Up: pour 2 oz. Scotch, 1/2 oz. Cocchi Americano, and 1/4 oz. Amaro Meletti, with 1 dash of Peychaud's bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.
