Don’t know much about guitarist Emmanuel Michael (although I’ll be happy to find out). But I know that sinóno — vocalist Isabel Crespo Pardo’s bottom-heavy band with cellist Lester St. Louis and bassist Henry Fraser — is one of the best units in current New York City, uncompromisingly exploratory but nice to listen to. We are very lucky to have Isabel Crespo Pardo around.
