June McDoom is one of the current breed of singer-songwriters, who thanks be don’t shy from using electronics to roughen up their sound. Kate Davis has veered from jazz to singer-songwriter to, lately, Indie Rock — which in the 2020s is a strange place to veer. Good thing she’s good at it.
