This List’s adoration of Simon Hanes’s finta Italo-Pop band Tredici Baci is no secret. So this festival would be a strong recommendation if weren’t up against two other festivals that go to the very heart of what this List is about. I mean, the chance to hear Tredici Baci jam with Anthony Coleman (Friday early show), or Simon Hanes with John Zorn (Sunday) — with sets by the band along the way — is not something to be easily skipped.
