Noisy Parisian guitarist Nina Garcia makes her U.S. debut with a solo set. Now imagine having Lee Ranaldo and Leila Bordreuil as your opening act! The “legendary guitarist” (as the promotional materials call him) and the endlessly inventive cellist+ resume an occasional collaboration that has never failed to bear fruit, owing to both artists’ distinctive but complementary approaches to noise, sound, structure, improvisation, and such. (Lee might be a “legendary guitarist” but to this List he’s a guy we hung out with in college.)
