I can imagine some stick-in-the-mud fuddie duddies finding Gryphon Rue’s trippy pop-Minimalism insubstantial. I can only tell them to lighten up. His music will be accompanied by video projections and ace percussionist Susie Ibarra.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, eclectic cuisine at As You Are. Streaming at home, have a Ward Eight: pour 2 oz. Rye, 3/4 oz. each of lemon juice and orange juice, and 1 teaspoon Grendaine into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. (Betcha can’t drink just one.)
