You never know what instrument Morgan Guerin will be playing. Tonight it’s reeds and electronics, as he leads a sextet in an extended piece with voices — and one of the voices is J. Hoard’s.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, eclectic New American at As You Are. At home, have a Behind the Façade: pour 1-1/2 oz. Armagnac and 1/2 oz. each of apricot liqueur, Bonal, and lemon juice, with 1 dash of orange bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a Highball glass over ice. Top with Ginger Ale. Garnish with a lemon twist (spiral cut if you have the patience).
