As I keep telling you, Kalia Vandever is the most creative and compelling jazz trombonist in ages, creating swaths of sound that seem to hang in the air inviting you in — and you can’t decline. She’ll be playing solo. Warp Duo, as List readers with good memories know, do electroacoustic improvisations. If you get there at 6 PM, there’ll be a listening party for selected records through a really good sound system.
