Music by Henry Purcell and John Blow, student and teacher (although the teacher way outlived the tragically short-lived student) in Restoration England who both had the knack of writing stick-to-your-ribs English tunes. There’ll be both vocal and instrumental music, the vocal music mainly devoted to either saints or Queen Mary II.
