The Look + Listen Festival is packing it in after 20 years of putting on New Music shows in art galleries. As they note, classical music concerts in alternative spaces are common now (although that they weren’t before would have come as news to say Philip Glass). If Miranda Cuckson, Darius Jones (playing Sun Ra!), and Douglas Perkins sound good to you, then you know where to be.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Every time I go to Saint Julivert Fisherie I realize that its vaguely Iberian but fundamentally eclectic seafood is even better than I had remembered.
