In the beginning of the Quarantine last year, Periapsis's Artistic Director reached out to the dance community, offering to collaborate with dancer/choreographers on pieces for which he'd write brief piano solos to which they would create dances. Some were made into dance videos and other remote forms. This is a set of six of them deemed apt for live performance in the small space of the Soapbox Gallery (in my hood!).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Brandy Champerelle: pour 2 oz. Cognac and 1/2 oz. each Triple Sec and Angostura bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.
