Force Majeur, he impromptu album of soulful standards and familiar tunes that harpist Brandee Younger and bassist Dezron Douglas put together at house parties in their apartment during Quarantine, was such a total delight that it's hard to imagine forgoing any chance to hear them.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Midnight Stinger: pour 1 oz. each of Bourbon and Fernet, and 3/4 oz. each of lemon juice and Simple Syrup, into a cocktail shaker WITHOUT ice. Dry shake. Strain into a mug or rocks glass about 2/3 full of cracked ice. Stick in a straw and put in more cracked cie. Garnish with mint.
