Another Jazz Gallery initiative, this one featuring musical segments recorded by the participating artists during the week preceding the stream, and then live chat with the artists afterward.  Tune in tonight for the formidable pianist/composer Orrin Evans.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  A Hemingway favorite, El Floridita No. 1:  pour 2 oz. white Rum and 3 teaspoons each of Maraschino liqueur, lime juice, and Simple Syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
