Yeah, I hate the name of this program, too. But, we get to hear new pieces by the hypnotic, quietly searing Matthew Evan Taylor (whose recent Unheard Mixtape EPs I've been spending a lot of time with) and the compelling violinist/multidisciplinary artist/composer Anja Swaminathan (who takes off from Carnatic music and goes places that are very interesting). Beethoven may be more revolutionary than either of them — so why he's represented by one of his more conventional pieces, the C-Major String Quintet, is something of a mystery.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: Liberal (drink enough of them and you'll become incapable of systemic critique, instead insisting on the correctability of an insupportable existing structure and willfully disregarding the true nature of the forces that you fool yourself into believing you're effectively opposing): pour 1-1/2 oz. Rye, 1/2 oz. sweet Vermouth, 1/4 oz. Golden Moon Amer dit Picon or Bigalett China-China, and 1 dash of orange bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with an orange twist.
