Terrific '80s boho avant-dance-pop ingenue (I mean, was "Buffalo Stance" a great single or what?) went explicitly political to excellent effect thirty years later on her excellent Four Tet-produced album of last year.  I'm sure her live show will be great.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  I know I sound like a broken record, but why would you not go to antic power-pop (they think they're hip-hop, actually) Sichuan clubstaurant Mission Chinese Food Brooklyn when it's right there?
