The great Creative Musician trumpeter/composer Wadada Leo Smith is joined by the great percussionist Pheeroan akLaff. As if that weren't interesting enough, Japanese alto saxophonist Akira Sakata temporarily stays his explorations of pop, rock, and funk and returns to his free-jazz roots with his (otherwise American) Chikamorachi trio.
